Lxpanel has by default those running-applications buttons - it's a feature too ms-windows i never use (very annoying for me), and i normally i used to always switch it off, but i don't know how to do it on Lxpanel

Did u check it in "Panel Settings"? There is "Panel Applets" tab and there u can switch on/off applets which are in panel.
