Issue with desktop icon and wallpapper
hello guys...i recently switched(when i say switched i mean i formated to make sure nothing would conflict) to LXDE from gnome and so far am happy with it. it is making learn more about linux while saving on resources(not that i have an old pc just a resource nazi) my only issue is with pcmanfm and the desktop...when i boot into LXDE at first boot i have icons on my desktop when i want to start up the file manager,using the icon in the launcher(on the dock) or in the menu, the icons on desktop disapeare for a second then come back and i get no file manager..after clicking on the filemanager icon a few times it finnaly starts but then i loose my icons and the ability to change the desktop walpaper. I am using Arch Linux(64-bit) and slim for my login manager. I followed this guide to set it up.
