Pager not showing windows on non-active desktop

Hi,
I've a question regarding the pager applet of lxpanel (version 0.3.7-1 from the Ubuntu repositories) when using openbox (version 3.4.6.2-2) as window manager.
When I open a window on desktop 1 while looking at desktop 1 I see the window in the pager. As soon as I change the currently active desktop, the mini-window in the pager vanishes. When switching back to desktop 1 the mini-window appears again.
Other people seem to have stumbled upon the same problem as well
