Battery plugin does not refresh

Post by dedhart »

I think the title says it all. Is there a way for the battery meter to refresh so that the % charged is accurate?

Do You have Lm-sensors installed?
I'm not shure, but as far I know, other similiar plugins/programs (for examle conky) are using this library. Propably this plugin needs it too.

Yep, I had the battery and sensors plugin working fine in XFCE. Of course XFCE gave me some headaches, and the new 4.6 was really the straw that made me want to switch. The battery plugin seems to recognize my battery when I first start it, but it does not change, even if the comp. is unplugged. If I add another battery plugin to the panel, I'll see two battery plugins showing 2 different charge levels. Right now I'm using qbat instead, it works great if you don't mind installing qt. I just thought maybe there was a refresh option I didn't know about or something since I can't seem to find any documentation anywhere.
