Edit: Original title: LXLauncher (for iPhone and other devices) << changed due to spam

This is related to GNU/Linux on iPhone and other iPhone-sized devices (I'm using the name iPhone, merely, as a general name)

You may want to make a --device argument or ,more reasonable, let the GNU/Linux for iPhone and other iPhone-sized devices to make the configurations by themselves.

Edit: A --device argument may be useful for a touch device conditioned devices or "no tab status" (move from one category to the other with Drag'n'Drop (animated - but I, particularly, do not like animated features) the mouse/finger), but, On the other hand, maybe it should be done with a fixed configuration file.

Problems and requests:
The tabs are limiting the size of LXLauncher and LXLauncher itself is limited to be 303 width (in the image above, I have forced the size on LXLauncher with another window that I have grouped LXLauncher with (Fluxbox).
An option for icons instead of names for categories.
LXLauncher without tabs is not possible.
A man page and a $ lxlauncher -h to see help.

I'm using lxlauncher 20100924-i486-1pw on GNU/Linux Salix OS (Slackware based)

The following project was brought to mt attention earlier today:

Opie - Open Palmtop Integrated Environment
Applications and libraries for mobile devices

http://opie.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/

Maybe LXLauncher would be useful there too.
