PCman won't mount drives

PCman shows my drives but won't allow mounting.
Get error message "Directory does not exist"
Not sure what to do.

This was solved by installing Gnome. Everything mounts.
I was not aware how depended LXDE is on Gnome.

LXDE is a stand alone DM with openbox as its WM. Which means LXDE can be used with any other WM. Moreover mounting problem is not due to pcmanfm alone. If you have not installed hal, install hal /Policykit and you may have to define the policies your self. Answers are there in this forum and will not that much difficult to find.
