I just installed LXDE on a Ubuntu 10.10 (32-bit) system with the GNOME environment.
Two questions:
1) How do I get NumLock to automatically turn on? (Before and after the login screen)
2) The font in the left and upper panels of Thunderbird is too big. (This does not happen when I am using Thunderbird with GNOME.) How do I reduce the font size? I tried to do it within Thunderbird but that did not work, so I am assuming that there is a setting in LXDE that lets me do that.
Thanks.

Re: A Couple of Questions...
Not sure about NumLock. However, fonts I deal with every time I install LXDE. Here are the places to look:
Code: Select all
lxappearance
obconf
pcmanfm --desktop-pref

Well, I tried your suggestions but none of them seem to have an effect on Mozilla Thunderbird... The strange thing is that I cannot find a setting for decreasing fonts even within Thunderbird's menu.rockdoctor wrote:Not sure about NumLock. However, fonts I deal with every time I install LXDE.
