how to enable zoom in LXDE?

I've been using ubuntu for 1 year and now I installed LXDE "Lubuntu 11.10" in a netbook with low resources.
LXDE is great much faster than Ubuntu. I feel it's the perfect desktop for my netbook. Now I have almost everything ready would I have some things I would like to change.
1- How to enable the zoom? Would be nice in order to do screencast. 1 option is Compiz Enhanced Zoom video... But I don't want to install it. I want a Lightweight System... Any alternative?
2- Is it possible to have transparencies ???
My computer is an ASUS EEE 900HD. Processor 900Mhz and RAM 1Gb, card video 64Mb. So I want to do what I want with consuming as less resources as possible.
ths for your help
