Is hibernating harmful for any part of computer or laptop? somebody told me that hibernating the computer(laptop) is harmful and every time just turn it off instead of heibernate. Is this real?

I have never heard or read anything about hibernation being harmful to laptops. Since nothing is on, I don't see how it would be. That said, I wouldn't throw it around because that is never good for for the computer.
