Recently compiled and installed the latest version lxpanel, respectively 0.5.8. Everything work ok, except generation of man. However, the problem is that not abble to add the volume control. Appears in the list of plugins, but if I add nothing happens. Other applets like digital clock, network monitor, menu, keyboard layout switcher, are going ok.
I have linux mint lxde with openbox 3.5.0, and lxpanel source code are latest from git.

I use gmixer with Fedora 15 and Fedora 16, and pnmixer with Fedora Rawhide. Not sure what Mint uses

I thnik that use gnome-alsamixer.

So nobody have this experience?
Maybe need to back on version 0.5.6 but there are anothers bugs.
