Cannot shutdown or reboot lxde from lxde-logout menu
Cannot shutdown or reboot lxde from lxde-logout menu
I've a very strange problem. I can suspend, hibernate or logout from lxde-logout menu but there is no option of shutdown or reboot the system. Do you have any solution for my problem?

Make sure hal is installed.
Code: Select all
$ apt-cache policy hal
hal:
Installed: 0.5.14-6
Candidate: 0.5.14-7
Version table:
0.5.14-7 0
500 http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ testing/main i386 Packages
*** 0.5.14-6 0
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Yes, I've the hal instaled. The problem is that before I've had installed hal I could only logout. But after installation of hal I can not only logout but also suspend, hibernate. Sadly I cannot shutdown or reboot the system from lxde-logout menu.

I see the same problem in Fedora Rawhide. I believe it's related to the problems with lxpolkit.
