Hello to all:

I have a little issue regarding my lxde menu (i`m running lubuntu by the way).

The thing is i uninstalled a program a while ago (gnumeric), but the element is still present in the menu. I understand that the element should be erased automatically from the menu when uninstalled.

When i "left click", nothing happens, not even an error message.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

Thanks.

Find and delete the gnumeric.desktop file. It will most likely be in /usr/share/applications. If not there, try /usr/local/share/applications. You need to be root to delete. First, open the directory containing gnumeric as a normal user. Then choose Tools/OpenCurrentFolderasRoot in pcmanfm taskbar. When open as root, the usual right click/delete will delete. http://lxlinux.com

Your welcome. I recommend downloading and installing lxmed. See http://lxlinux.com. This is a handy tool that allows users to deal with menu items in any direction - adding, deleting, hiding, etc.
