Folder icons and .directory file

Hello everybody,
I switched from KDE to Openbox recently. So I am a "newbie" for using PCManFM and I have a question.
In Dolphin, if in a folder there is a file named ".directory" which contains the following lines for example:
Dolphin displays the folder icon using the icon specified from the file ".directory" instead of the standard folder icon.
PCManFM uses the same icon even if there is the file ".directory". It is a bug or the feature is not (yet) implemented or I must activate an option?
Thanks
