I got LXDE installed on gentoo. Its very, very basic. Almost no tools to adjust the settings the way I'd like it to be. Its quite laid back.....

What do I do now? Any thoughts as to a good set of tools and apps? I'd like some kind of a control panel or somehting to adjust icons, looks, etc.

LXDE is lightweight and free, so the user is free to install and use programms like he wants.
What settings you would adjust? And with what?

And BTW it is normal for gentoo, to install only the things you need by hand.

Hey.... I have not been on the forum in a few days now.

I found some links on the this site that really helped (thanks). The biggest thing I would want now is to change the theme. I know LXAppearance changes themes but I do not know how to install what theme. Is there any kind of LXDE-Look.org site????
