Linux is not Windows. You can dowmload and install various themes for Firefox from the Mozilla website.

You may want to try Mozilla Labs: Prospector - LessChrome HD extension for firefox...

You can hide the title bar with two mouse clicks. Place your mouse pointer on the title bar and right click. Choose Un/Decorate and the title bar will be gone. One of the negatives is that you will have to go to the menu to close Firefox because the "X" in the upper right corner is gone along with the title bar. You can add the extension "exit button firefox" and place that on one of the other bars to avoid going to the menu to close Firefox. Not exactly what you are asking but it is a work around.
