LXDM starts on wrong monitor

Is there a way to choose the monitor where LXDM starts?
Actually I have an external monitor connected to my laptop, but such monitor is mainly used as TV (only rarely I change its source to PC in order to see some .mp4).
The problem is that LXDM decides to appear in such monitor (while the laptop's one remain blank), and this annoys me.
How can I solve?
At the moment, the only solution I get is to prevent udev from connect the secondary monitor (so that LXDM have no choice, it must start in the only monitor available), but this solution is a bit dirty and I prefer not to use udev rule if possible.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance
