GeForce 210 and Lubuntu 13.04-64

Hello,

I have a dual-core machine with Lubuntu 13.04 installed. Yesterday, I bought a Zogis GeForce 210 video card, but can't get any resolution better than 800x600 (the onboard chipset was able to provide me 1024 x 768, but I want a resolution higher than that). I tried everything. I downloaded the latest Nvidia driver from the chipset maker's site. I tried several hints I have found in Google, including

sudo apt-get install nvidia-current nvidia-settings

but the Nvidia X Server Settings refuses to provide video display resolutions higher than 800x600.

I need a step-by-step guide on how to successfully configure the video card.

Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance!

Fausto

I'm ignorant of the significance "Zogis", but would this do?
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverRe ... 1453/en-us

Here is Nvidia's driver finder:

If not, you might have better luck at
http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=332
which is the hardware subforum at ubuntuforums which I think would be a more appropriate forum for this sort of thing. I'm no expert, but it seems to me this question isn't really all that lxde related. Whatever the solution is, it is probably not affected by what DE you're using.
