zebra'd lxpanel?

I think my problem is being caused by running Audacity.

Having run Adacity my top bar looks like this (at least the right hand side does)
lxpanel.png
(17.06 KiB) Not downloaded yet
I would welcome advise on avoiding this happening, although I'd happily settle for a way to reset the
appearance without restarting my login (my normal working "set" has a lot of programs
across multiple desktops)

OS is

Perversely, I have another issue with LXDE - when I quite Seamonkey, I always get a "Ubuntu has crashed unexpectedly" message.

But I also noted that this had the happy side effect of resetting/restarting LXPanel, and fixing the Zebra effect.

Two wrongs DO make a right.

In a crap sort of way.

you know you can generally restart LXPanel by putting the following into the terminal:

Code: Select all

lxpanelctl restart
