Welcome to the LXDE forum. When I read your post I was not sure if you are aware of the fact that Microsoft Windows XP will die early next year and that a WUBI install is not necessarily intended for a lengthy install. It is generally used to try something out (Ubuntu/Lubuntu etc.) within Windows. If you are sure you want a Linux OS on your computer then I believe that a dual boot is a better option. Of course that is only my opinion and everyone has one of those.

See

WUBI is no longer supported, it was dropped in 13.04. The last version of WUBI was released as part of 12.10.

Thanks for the input. I have not read that before. I do not use WUBI but I am aware that others use it or have used it.
