I installed Lubuntu 13.04 on a Dell machine. Installed the flash player pluggin too. its version is 11.2.202. videos on sites with flash player only shows up on half of the screen. they are very blurred. cannot see anythng at all. the sound comes ok. a screen shot of youtube is attached. Its the same on Firefox and Chromium browser. Please suggest solutions. I am not a linux expert. so please give plain instructions.

I've almost always found with a new 'buntu installation that:

1 - Flash doesn't work out of the box.
2 - There are a heck of a lot of flash this and flash that packages in Synaptic, which seem like they must be notably redundant.
3 - The first one I try is never sufficient.
4 - If I keep installing and rebooting occasionally, eventually some combination of what I installed will start working.

I know that's an absurdly hit and miss approach but it is all I've figured out. It's working for me now on 13.10, Saucy. Here are the packages I have that look like they might be relevant:
browser-plugin-gnash
flashplugin-installer
get-flash-videos
gnash
gnash-common
libjs-jquery-jplayer
libquivi-scripts
libquivi7
minitube
nomnom
quvi
xmms2-plugin-flv
vlc
mplayer
