When I lid my laptop, it goes into a suspend state. And when I open it, it wakes. But after 3 seconds goes to sleep again.
How do I fix it?
I use Dell studio 1558 with Lubuntu 13.10

To set your power preferences go to Main Menu->Preferences->Power Manager. You can change things from there.

It's work well when I lid the monitor. System goes to suspend mode.
My problem is when I open it, it,s going to suspend again is about 3 sec.

What are your settings? You can set your laptop to do a number of things when it is on battery and ac power; nothing, suspend, hybernate, or lock screen. If you have it set to do nothing then you do not have to do anything when you open the lid. On all of the others, I believe that you have to enter your password to activate the computer again. Notice that there are also have monitor settings when the computer is on battery and ac power. You can set them to do different things if you want to do that.
Apparently, after re-reading your posts, your laptop suspends after you close the lid. Then after you raise the lid it suspends again after 3 seconds. Will it activate after that?

I configured power manager to go to suspend when I lid the monitor. And I want it to be.
After rasing monitor it goes to suspend in about 3 sec. and when I press power putton it's wake up and working well.

I foud that it's a problem from xfce4-power-manager. When I use it works correctly.
What should I do?
Code: Select all
sudo pm-suspend

You could try the gnome-power-manager, it works in LXDE.
