Is there a Backports repo for LXDE on Debian?

What's the best way to update LXDE on Debian as the versions already installed in the Stable repo are not the newest ones published here.

Debian generally has a two-year release cycle, so any new versions of packages released since Wheezy was released, will not be provided by Debian until the next release (Debian 8), unless something is subsequently released that is security-related, in which case Debian should provide the new version.

And it's not just LXDE, I have other software packages installed in which the developers have since released newer versions, but what Debian provides is what we get.

There are 'testing' (Jessie) and 'unstable' (Sid) distros available from Debian, which may or may not have more recent packages vs. what is included with Wheezy, but you use those at your own risk.
