Sir,
In the lxde installed in my tablet, only 5 items appear in the main menu - Accessories, Internet, Preferences, Run and Logout. I could not locate System Tools in the main menu. Can you guide me as to how to locate 'System Tools' and bring it on the main menu, so that I can utilise Synaptic manger.

dear sir,
please open a terminal window (accessories -> lxterminal) and type "sudo synaptic", after which you will be prompted for your password. after entering it, synaptic will open.
