How to create trash bin?

I'm experimenting with LXDE on top of CrunchBang. So far I really like it but I miss the trash bin.

Would replacing pcmanfm with Thunar give me a trash bin? If yes, how do I make Thunar the default file manager in stead og pcmanfm?

Or is there a better way to have a trash bin?

Hi

Currently there is no trash bin/can. But it's in development. If you are familiar with C, please help :) .See also: http://forum.lxde.org/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=256&start=0

Didn't pcmanfm recently change to gnu-utils?
Why not just use "mv $SELECTED ~/.Trash" insted of rm?

Distrowatch has a review of Mandriva 2009 Spring, which includes a desktop screenshot of what they claim is the default Mandriva LXDE desktop.

The image includes a Trash icon. On my default Mandriva LXDE desktop, no Trash icon exists.

Is it something new that has to be enabled??

I don't have a trash too, on my Mandriva 2009 Spring.

This is annoying. When we erase a file, where does it go ?

To extinction. It is no more. It's gone to his master.

Where should a file go, if not to hell, erasing it? Moving files to trashbin, is one thing I consider strange. If I want to have free space, I have to delete it right, if not, why not leave it there.
