Hi,

The questions that need to be answered for registration (the spambot rejection questions) seemed surprisingly difficult, considering that this is forum is (also) for help, not a developers-only forum. The problem is aggravated by the fact that people who use localized versions of Lubuntu typically do not see the native-language names of the applications in the Lubuntu user interface.

We have had a massive SPAM attack and such methods were needed at the time. Several of the procedures are still in place to prevent Spammers from attacking. That is one of them. Another is the requirement to have your first post appoved before publishing it.
