Mouse pointer invisible after screenlock. C-A-F1/C-A-F7

Hi,

I use Lubuntu(16.04.01 LTS) with LXDE* on an ASUS laptop. On or around July 18, 2016, I updated my installation with synaptic, and now the mouse becomes invisible after a screen lock(lxlock). The mouse pointer is "active", but invisible--I can see "mouse-over" activity, but no pointer. Switching to a virtual terminal(Ctrl-Alt-F[1-6]) and back(Ctrl-Alt-F7) restores the pointer. Any ideas? Thanks!

I should clarify. The mouse pointer *disappears after the unlock*; it is visible on the username/password login screen.

Running "unclutter -idle 1" in the background is a work-around/hack if you don't mind the mouse pointer being hidden while not in use.

Using xscreensaver instead of light-locker is another work-around/"hack".

Looks like this issue is outside of LXDE and was reported in March/April.
