Double panels

I have been hacking away at LXDE for awhile and really enjoy it.
What I can't figure out is how to put two panels on the same edge.
I can put one on every edge but not two on any.
Is there a way to do so?
Thanks

I got a different blink/flicker effect than the one in the prior thread. I solved it the same way. Do you want it posted?

Hi
There is no way to have two panels at the same side. Would this make sense?! What do you want to do?

Hi, Thanks for your time.
Yes it makes sense for me. The top one for my apps and the bottom for my tasks/windows.
What I really want is two task panel elements/plugins bookending my apps but I just get two copies of each task.
The two task panels elements are also different sized for some reason.
Even if you can just point me to the files I can hack on I would appreciate it.
Thanks again for your time.

Sorry, but it still doesn't make sense to me, and it's currently not possible to split the taskbar. You will get a copy. Sorry.

Sorry for being unclear.
Here is a current screenshot to clarify.
We use wide screens and use the setup in the shot.
As we move over to the 52inch high rez screens the clamor for centered apps grows to a scream.
If you could point me to the appropriate file(s) I can learn to hack it.
I would rather have two task bars than to split one. I would like to assign tasks for audio to one side and video to the other eventually.
I have been playing with GLADE and reading up on GTK. It may have to be a custom configuration.
Thanks again

Okay. That would be nice. But that's not possible through editing config files. You have to hack into lxpanel itself. Checkout svn and give it a try. Sorry but I'm not a C dev, so I don't know how easy it is. Good luck
