First off hello everyone! This is my first attempt at using LXDE so I am having a issue with a brand new installation of on arch linux, when ever i click the minimize button on a open window say chromium for example the animation shows window going towards bottom of screen (my panel is relocated to the top of screen) and the program closes this happens for every program that i tried so far. I have searched around but came up empty so far so I am hoping somebody can help me here and this is just something being an LXDE beginner that I am missing. Thanks

the openbox builtin animation is sh*t and will always go towards the bottom (left iirc) of the screen.
just disable it.
by editing your rc.xml:
<animateIconify>no</animateIconify>
