Hi There,

I have installed lubuntu on a Lenovo B50-80 Laptop. For some reasons the sound volume function keys do not work. Everything else does like the screen brightness keys.

Has anyone else had that problem?

please open a terminal and enter 'alsamixer'.
do you see any channels that have a double 'MM'? If so, with the help of the keyboard, UNmute them by
a) highlighting them
b) pressing the 'm' key.

if that doesn't help, enter 'lspci -k' and post the output here. in code tags, if you please.
