If date in the terminal gives the correct date and time, I am not sure what you are talking about. Where is the incorrect date and time displayed. Also, I am sure that you are aware of it but i will say it again LXQT is still in development and thus is still full of bugs (even after 2 years) so I would ay that it is not ready for prime time yet and you use it at your own risk.

To reset the date put sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata into your terminal and follow the subsequent prompts.

Thank you seppalta! Your command didn't help but I understand now what happens:
- the UTC is right
- the local time also is right
- but LXQT shows to me the UTC and it is, of course, completely wrong for me at daily use time ... Sorry!
sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
[sudo] Mot de passe de x :
Current default time zone: 'Europe/Brussels'
Local time is now: Sat Apr 8 21:34:02 CEST 2017.
Universal Time is now: Sat Apr 8 19:34:02 UTC 2017.
