Hello!

I'm new with LXDE environment ...
I've just installed openSUSE Leap 42.2 and implemented LXDE packages.
Now it runs with LXDE-Openbox an I have a lot of questions.

The most important is:
Howto start start TDE applications?
When I click on the correspondent ikon on the start menu (i.e. Korganizer), I get following error message box:

Code: Select all

invalid .desktop file: '/opt/trinity/share/applications/tde/korganizer.desktop'

I also tried to edit the entry of Korganizer in Start menu, but I did not find where. The right click context menu shows no edit functions.

May anybody help me?

Welcome to the LXDE forum. While it is not always the case, occasionally when you try to mix desktop environments they do not play well together. Each has its own default applications.

please open a terminal and enter the following command:

Code: Select all

 cat /opt/trinity/share/applications/tde/korganizer.desktop

and post its output here.
