Hi everybody,

I have a quite fresh install of Debian Jessie with KDE and LXDE.
If I go to Monitor Settings right after my login everything works and I can activate setting for my lcd-projector.

But if I wait awhile or do something else first, then accessing Monitor Settings is not possible anymore. I get "Unable to get monitor information!".
Only way to fix this is to log out and in again. What could be causing this?

did you fix this? how?
if not, can you recreate the behavior with e.g. arandr (install first)?
it's always a good idea to open the app in question in a terminal, and see what sort of output one gets when reproducing the error.

No, it's still broken.

In the meantime I have used another machine. I'll try your suggestions and report back in a week or so.
