hi first post
ive have problem when i click on panel applet they close right away, for if i click on wifi icon it open hen close within a second so im unable to select which connection i want. but when i click volume it just stays open, i have to click again to close.

anyone have any fixes?

If it is just the tray applets acting up, you could install an alternate tray, for example, http://stalonetray.sourceforge.net/ is a good one that works well with openbox. For a picture and more information, see http://lxlinux.com/dock.html.
