hi,
after last updating of ArchLinux, often lxpanel crashes when i click right mouse button on it.

dmesg log:

i use only openbox with lxpanel 0.9.3-1 on ArhcLinux64bit with 4.14.15-1 kernel
i use lxpanel since 2012 and never had similar problems.

i'm going crazy, it crashes too often.

This was a bug long time ago - was fixed, but apparently still pops up depending on the source of your initial installation. You might try re-installing lxpanel from a different source. One person in the past said he fixed the problem by changing monitor setting from 60 MHz to 75 MHz.

Personally, I recommend http://lxlinux.com/fbpanel.html over lxpanel for many reasons.

indeed i often change video refresh rate from 60 to 75Hz. but it crashes even in 75Hz mode.
i have tried to build directly from this source without configure options:

but i don't solved. i tried git version too.

why on earth would you do that?
is that when lxpanel crashes?

troubleshooting: start with an empty config by renaming the current. does it help?

because i play retro videogames. with NTSC games i set 60Hz, with PAL works better 75Hz.
anyway it isn't a refresh rate problem. The problem happens too in another PC where i never change refresh rate.

then i "solved" installing lxpanel 0.8.2.
