how to get the home icon to show on desktop?

is it possible? i am new to lxde and cannot see a way to do it. running debian 9.8 stable

i like a clean desktop and have it on my other laptops but need to have a bit more easier access to the home folder. the little files icon on the taskbar is tough to hit sometimes.... thannks.

I am not sure if it is a part of lxde but you should be able to right click PCManFM in your menu and then select add to desktop.

no it doesn't work, Just tried it. Thank you anyway. Not an issue - just wanted to see if it is possible. after runnubg E/moksha fr years trying to figure this out in debian.

The old "drag and drop" also works for me. Have you tried that?

i tried that this am when i was using it and nothing. I will give it a shot later on again. like i said - not that important - just trying to learn more about lxde since i never used it before. used to use old dnome and tried dnome3 is it and xfce which i did not like at all and still don't but enlightenment/moksha for maybe 5 years now. Thanks Rex.

Rex, no - i tried it again and it doesn't work. New to debian and also lxde i found that there are a lot of different things in debian or quirks - not glitches - just that things do not work as in mint or ubuntu or possibly other stuff just like E/moksha is differentin many ways to ubuntu and mint and gnome , kde etc.
if i coem across an answer i will post it here so others know. thanks again my friend.
