Hi all,

I'd love to have the feature of being able to hide the menu, so I could cram one more line of text onto the screen. Is this in the plans? Alterntatively, would a patch adding this feature be welcome? I've got a netbook, and lxterminal is even worse for my purposes than gnome-terminal, since screen real estate is a much more precious commodity than RAM... although I'd probably end up just going back to aterm if this feature isn't added one way or another.

That's a good idea. I currently using terminator and aterm for that. Fell free to add a future request on LXDE's future request tracker. Or if you want to post a patch use the Patch Tracker.
