Hello Experienced Linux Users,
Fairly new to Linux (but getting better).
I will assume that LXDE is closely related to LXLE and that a resolution for one ought to work on the other. This question is also posted in the LXLE forum, but has no responses as yet, so here goes:
PROBLEM: IOUS - (ICONS OF UNUSUAL SIZE).
After loading LXLE 18.04.3 32bit / Cinnamon / Gnome Tweaks/ Mint-XP-master theme and icons, the main screen looks fine.
The icons in general look fine (and in good proportion), but top and bottom bars are huge and the red circle with x selection icon and the green circle checkmark icon are huge, crowding out usable screen space.

The machine is an older Acer AspireOne netbook KAV60 with RAM upgraded to 2 GB DDR2.

I have attempted adjusting icon size using the organic "Customize Look and Feel" utility.

For icon theme, I have Win2-7 6.0 selected.
For Widget, I have Redmond selected.
For Other, all tick-boxes are unselected, and under GUI options:
Toolbar style is text beside icons, and
Toolbar icon size, is small toolbar icon.
Thanks for any guidance you can provide.
Best,
HAL

That screen size is very unusual (what, 480 or 600px vertically?), way too few pixels for any current distro/icon theme.
I suggest you simply carefully choose an icon theme that works.
I also see that this is essentially a seamonkey problem, in your screenshot? Which version?
