LXDE as default session

I installed LXDE on Ubuntu Mate and find it's much better!
I can't find out where to change the default login session from Mate to LXDE.
Obviously I can select the session in the login window, but I would like to make LXDE the default.
Thanks!

Your login manager should be able to set a new default, or have an option to automatically use the previously selected session.
I do not know which one you use, but surely documentation exists, both online and offline?

IIRC, after logging out from LXDE, there should be be options in the display manager logon screen for Default X-Session, LXDE and MATE. Choose Default X-Session. I think the last DE you use becomes the default X-session. That's how I remember it anyway.
