English(US) instead of English(GB) next to wifi icon

Under Control Menu --> Settings -->Languages, I selected English/United Kingdom for Language, Region and Time Format. I then applied the changes system-wide.
The only issue with this, is that "US" appears next to the WiFi icon, instead of "GB" in the top-right hand corner of the screen.
How can I change "US" to "GB" ?
