Bluetooth desktop app ?

Hi,
I'm running lxde on debian lenny and i must say i'm impressed
Since i'm new with grafical enviroments in linux i was wandering if there exists and how to install a bluetooth tool in lxde.
i did an apt-get install bluetooth, my bluetooths usb dongle is detected but i see no BT tools/icons in lxde.

Sorry but there is no bluethooth application in LXDE, but there are several desktop independent applications for that. A selection from gnomefiles.org:

Thanks for the info maces, i'm a noob when working in a grafical desktop (i'm used of working in a shell), so if i understand it well i can run and install gnome/gtk applications under lxde ?

You can run anything you want with LXDE. For the lightest result, you would try to use applications that only need GTK. If you were to run an application that depends on the GNOME or KDE libraries, it would start more slowly and take more resources.
Unlike GNOME, KDE, or Xfce, there are no LXDE specific libraries beyond GTK.

What can I do with Bluetooth technology on my laptop computer? I have an Acer Aspire 3620 Notebook computer. I use the wireless connection every day. The computer is also Bluetooth technology enabled but I have no clue what that means. what options and features are available with Bluetooth? What can I do with it?
