Menu Edit GUI

I really like the look & feel of LXDE (despite GTK)

There are a few things that concern me about newbie usability, most notably the need to hack config files to do common things like add a menu listing. What other common tasks should be easier than they are, and is there a plan to GUIfy much of this?

Thanks,

Lance

Hi

Sorry but there is currently no menu editor. But you can add a custom *.desktop file to /usr/share/applications.

Yes I realize there isn't one. That was about the first thing that leaped-out at me. I'm hoping to hear that an enhancement is well under way.

Anyone?

Thanks,

Lance

I think there is no future request on sf.net. So if you want to have this future included in LXDE, fill in a future request ;)
