Who is the moderator around here? Is this place dead? My post has been waiting over 24 hours to be approved...

This site is manned by volunteers. It is unfortunate that your post was not approved as quickly as you thought it should be but we do not have the number of mods to accomplish immediate approval. We have the required first post approval to cut down on the SPAM posts that we receive.

I wonder what makes admins of a website of 130 visitors a month (!) repel visitors by moderating each post?

While post approval delays can be irritating, it is important that anti-spam procedures such as initial post approval are used. Patience and respect for volunteer efforts help to build a better online community.
