LiveCD kernel requires cmov

Trying the Live CD on my 2000-vintage laptop, the kernel wouldn't boot because the AMD-K3 processor doesn't support the cmov instruction. The name of the image contains "i586" but it looks like the kernel was actually compiled for i686.

Actually, it says "i386", not "i586". Sorry.

Yes, you are right. Live CD from the download page (http://lxde.org/download) is i686 build (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I686). It does NOT work on any Socket 5, Socket 7 or Super 7 i586 CPU: Pentium, Pentium MMX, AMD K5/K6/K6-2/K6-2+/K6-III/K6-III+ and other. Anyone to fix it, please? Or you really don't care to have more testers and users?
