hi,
i bought new laptop and I wanna install debian with lxde...
i like to do things my way so I decided to install minimal debian from http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily ... 64/iso-cd/ and then use great smxi http://smxi.org to install and update soft and stuff...
what else i wanna and need is LXDE
so what is status of lxde and debian? i mean eg in repos: i remember that in Sid there was packages kind of old. is there any repo with actaul packages?
or should I install from source (eg. svn)? if yes, is there any special what i should take in mind becouse of 64-bit architecture? (i am kind of newbie in linux, mean not very experienced... and no expos with 64)
thanks for any advice

using a netboot method or business card CD image from testing. Most wavelan cards with native linux support do work in a 64bit kernel too..
