LXPanel Feature Request
LXPanel Feature Request
It'd be nice if it were possible to install guest applets from Gnome, xfce4 or WindowMaker in the panel. Like you can do with Gnome-panel and xfce4-panel.
Re: LXPanel Feature Request
Please, before include new features, fix problem with uncomplect and broken code in lxpanel.

Re: LXPanel Feature Request
This is not useful. Once you use gnome applets, most of the time, they load some gnome services.Mark wrote:It'd be nice if it were possible to install guest applets from Gnome, xfce4 or WindowMaker in the panel. Like you can do with Gnome-panel and xfce4-panel.
So, you end up with all the gnome services / libs running.
If that is the case, why not using gnome-panel directly?
Gnome panel is well-designed for this purpose.
Using gnome panel won't be more expansive than using lxpanel + all the gnome stuff.
