How do you define the desktop background color if you are not using PCMan to control the desktop?
Thanks.
Desktop Background Color without using PCMan
Re: Desktop Background Color without using PCMan
Hi
If you are using GDM for login you can run "gdmsetup" (as root) and select a color under "local".
You also can set the desktop background with feh.

For reference an easy way to get a solid color is, in /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/autostart add at the top, replacing the color with whatever pleases you
xsetroot -solid "#000030"
xsetroot -solid "#000030"
