obconf & desktop pager configuration
Running obconf from the CLI allows me to configure the desktop pager to have multiple desktops (I prefer about five or six). thanks, obconf did the trick. In ubuntu I had to install it first, though. It did generate some errors when run from the command line, for what it's worth.

desktop pager settings grayed out
can you change the desktop pater settings to display 3 or 4 desktops instead of 2? That option is grayed out
