Hi there,
I've just noticed that all icons have disappeared from my Desktop. In my ~/Desktop, there are still files that used to be displayed on the Desktop. Exactly the same thing happened a few days ago on my other PC. Has anybody seen this problem? Is it worth submitting a bug report? I'm using the testing distribution of Debian GNU/Linux on both of my PCs, for which the LXDE version is 0.3.2.1+svn20080509-6 .
Cheers,
Ryo

Yes, I have also seen that sometimes and already asked that. (http://forum.lxde.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=541)

Thanks for your response. Yes, I noticed your thread after I posted mine. I should've been more careful.FrancescoA wrote:Yes, I have also seen that sometimes and already asked that. (http://forum.lxde.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=541)
So, it may be worth filing a bug report, although I'm not sure if it will help the developers to identify the problem. What do you think?
Cheers,
Ryo

Before filing a bug report, if I am reading your post correctly, you might want to consider that your LXDE version is over a year old.

Thanks for pointing that out. Francesco, what's your version? I don't want to download and install the latest version; I'm totally relying on the Debian package archive.Marty Jack wrote:Before filing a bug report, if I am reading your post correctly, you might want to consider that your LXDE version is over a year old.

Ryo, my version is the version of the ubuntu jauntys current package. It says in packet manager 0.3.2.1+svn20080509-5. It is the "latest available version".ryofurue wrote: Francesco, what's your version? I don't want to download and install the latest version; I'm totally relying on the Debian package archive.
