no window decoration

just installed lxde on archlinux

in system settings > appearance > windows there is a msg:

cannot load library /usr/lib/kde4/kcm_kwindecoration.so ....

LXDE doesn't depend on KDE

do you have openbox installed?

thanks maces, yes openbox is installed.

things have become more complicated now

i had kdemod and lxde both installed. kdemod was not behaving well, so i uninstalled it

now lxde still sort of works, but i get the feeling that something may be missing...maybe the kdemod-uninstall removed some stuff used by lxde??

ok, problem solved

after uninstalling kdemod and reinstalling lxde, all is good
