lxpanel segfaults with menu-cache 0.3.1

Post by bmarkus »

lxpanel (0.5.4.1) segfaults with menu-cache 0.3.0 and 0.3.1

menu-cache 0.2.6 compiled on the same system using the same environment works fine.

Hi,

please be a bit more verbose and have a look at this. Thx.

Well, it was intended just a question to poll others and not a bug report. To be more specific is not easy at the moment. What I see is only the 'segmentation fault' single line after lxpanel started.

The pair lxpanel 0.5.5 and menu-cache 0.3.1 are to be used together. And 0.5.4.1 and 0.2.6. As I understand it. Not my doing.

Thanks a lot! The pair lxpanel 0.5.5 and menu-cache 0.3.1 are working fine together. This was the solution.
